MCP servers for Odoo
An MCP server is what lets Claude or ChatGPT read your Odoo. There are three ways to have one: a managed service like Tuqui, an open-source server you install yourself, or the one Odoo includes in Odoo 20 Enterprise. Here they are side by side.

What is an MCP server?
MCP is the standard that Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants use to add tools. An MCP server for Odoo lets them read your Odoo when you ask.
How is it different from a generic Odoo MCP?
A generic MCP gives the assistant Odoo's tables and leaves the rest to it. Tuqui adds what it needs to answer well: how Odoo works (invoices, stock moves, collections), your company's context and each user's. So it answers with the full picture instead of loose data.
Is it safe to connect Odoo to an assistant?
It depends on the server. With Tuqui, the assistant reads with your user's permissions in Odoo and only reads by default.
Does it work with Odoo Online?
Yes. It works with Odoo 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20, Community and Enterprise, on Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or your own server.
Can I use more than one assistant?
Yes. With Tuqui, the same account works in Claude, in ChatGPT and in Tuqui's own chat.
